This is an example page. It's different from a post because it stays in one place and will show up in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page, which introduces them to potential site visitors. It might look something like this:

…or something like that:

If you are new to WordPress you should go to your desktop to delete this page and create new pages with your own content. Have fun!
